IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE CITY OF LEBANON FIREWORKS DISPLAY
First, we would like to say THANK YOU to all the businesses and community members for their generous donations to make the Fourth of July Fireworks Display possible.

As Mayor, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for those working within the healthcare environment. This year’s fireworks display is not only dedicated to our service men and woman who defend our freedom, but to the many healthcare heroes on the front line working many hours and in extreme conditions. You have shown heroic efforts caring for our fellow Americans during the pandemic. Thank you and may God Bless America on this 4th of July holiday when we come together to celebrate unity, freedom and independence- let freedom ring!

As previously announced, the display will be slightly different this year. The entire show will be an aerial display with no ground show. We ask that you please join us in following these safety guidelines that have been put into place for this year’s display:

  • Fireworks display will start at dusk; approximately 9:00 P.M.
  • Coleman Memorial Park will close to pedestrian and vehicular traffic at 7:30 PM. Due to restrictions on large gatherings, there will be no ground show display and no spectator area inside the park this year. The fireworks will be totally an aerial display.
  • City Police and Fire Police will assist with parking in the general vicinity of the park. The public will be able to park along all public streets with the exception of SR 72 (Maple Street) and 16th Street. 16th Street will be kept open for emergency vehicle access.
  • We encourage the public to remain in their vehicles for safety purposes.
  • Please do NOT bring your own personal novelty fireworks (including sparklers). The conditions will be extremely hazardous with all of the parked vehicles AND the area is extremely dry and a fire could very easily start.

If technology cooperates, the Mayor will live-stream the display to the City’s Facebook Page. We wish you a safe and healthy 4th of July!
