LA Regional COVID Relief Fund
Round 2 for the LA Regional COVID-19 Recovery Fund application opens April 26 and closes May 2. In response to the devastating effects that COVID-19 is having on the local economy, the County of Los Angeles and the City of Los Angeles, in partnership with institutional and corporate philanthropy, have come together to create the LA Regional COVID-19 Recovery Fund. While there are a variety of Federal programs designed to address the crisis, they have critical limitations that still leave many Angelenos in need. Financial, technical, and cultural barriers have kept many of our neighborhood partners from accessing federal programs like the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL). The LA Regional COVID-19 Recovery fund seeks to address these issues by providing additional support to underserved communities throughout the county.

Grants of $10,000 will be awarded to eligible businesses that are selected as finalists and complete all verification steps. Being selected as a finalist does not guarantee an award.
Outdoor Dining Reimbursement Program
The Downtown Long Beach Alliance reimbursement program was designed to provide financial relief to Downtown Long Beach bars, breweries, distilleries, restaurants, and wineries by awarding funding on a first-come, first-served basis, now thru June 30, 2021, or until funds are exhausted.

The program will administer 100% matching funds up to $10,000 for each establishment as a reimbursement for a variety of existing eligible expenses associated with operating outdoor service. Eligible expenses must be incurred between December 29, 2020 and June 30, 2021. The total amount of funding available in the program is $225,000.
DLBA Storefront Recovery Grant Program
Seeded by a $20,000 donation from Waterford Property Company and Panattoni Development Company, the Downtown Long Beach Alliance (DLBA) is jumpstarting recovery efforts by providing microgrants to vandalized small businesses in Downtown. It is the organization’s hope that the DLBA Storefront Recovery Grant Program will continue to grow with donations from the community. 100% of donations will go directly to affected businesses.
