August 2020
We are Open for Business
Welcome to the August edition of the City of Marion’s Open for Business newsletter.

This month, we are celebrating International Co-working Day. Co-working is a great way to meet and collaborate with other businesses, encourage creativity and increase your productivity. Here in the City of Marion we have some great spaces at Hallett Cove and Tonsley.

In this edition, we also meet one of our innovative Edwardstown businesses who are leading the way in school uniform technology. We share details of the new JobTrainer package, helping businesses to keep, train and upskill their workforce, along with some great new energy grants. Remember to keep checking our Funding Finder ; your one-stop search engine for current funding opportunities.

The situation in Victoria is a reminder that we are not out of the woods yet. Should the situation in SA change, you can keep up-to-date with all COVID-19 updates at the SA Government's business page , or our COVID-19 portal .

Please stay safe,

Southern Business Mentoring Program
What are their clients saying?
"The services provided by two of the Southern Business Mentoring Program advisors have assisted me on two separate occasions. Both were able to reframe my focus and provide me with the guidance needed to consider what I need to do when working on my business and when working in my business.

It's the human element that made the biggest difference; the advisor's ability to empathise and guide me relative to where I am at helped to build trust and confidence in addition to the practical advice provided." - Southern Adelaide business
