COVID-19 Updates
South Beach Food Distribution
Commissioner David Richardson's office will host their weekly food distribution in South Beach on Saturday, January 16.

The food distribution is on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. Please remain in your car and open the trunk when it's your turn in line.

Walk-Up Food Distribution
Commissioner David Richardson's office will host a walk-up food distribution in Mid Beach on Monday, January 18, kosher food will be available.

The food distribution is on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last.

Everyone must wear a face covering that completely covers the nose and the mouth. If you do not have a face mask, one will be provided.
COVID-19 Vaccines
Miami-Dade County is coordinating closely with hospital and healthcare partners, the Florida Department of Health, municipalities, and private partners to vaccinate members of our community against the COVID-19 as quickly and efficiently as possible.

The appointments will be available through a scheduling tool in partnership with the Florida Department of Health and Miami-Dade County at miamidade.gov/vaccine. The website is also available in Spanish at miamidade.gov/vacuna

COVID-19 Testing
Drive-thru and walk-up COVID-19 testing continues on 17 Street and Convention Center Drive. We encourage you to pre-register for the walk-up site by clicking here or make your appointment for the drive-thru site here. The drive-thru and walk-up COVID-19 testing site will be open and operating with regularly scheduled hours, on Monday, January 18.

Healthy Together App
Floridians are working to slow the spread of COVID-19. We can work together to protect our family members, friends, health workers and our communities. The Healthy Together app delivers your results, assesses symptoms for positive cases, provides self service contact tracing, allows you to view latest trends and what to do after you've been tested for COVID-19.

  • Provide symptoms and contacts: Positive residents can provide symptoms to the state.
  • Learn what to do after you get tested: Get your test results and instructions for care.

Users own their data and can delete the data at any time. The use of your data is limited to COVID-19 response efforts. No location data will be ever collected and stored.

Voices of Freedom
Don’t miss Voices of Freedom, a free, live-streamed tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Saturday, January 16 at 7 p.m.

Filmed at the North Beach Bandshell, this live-streamed event will feature Miami-based performing artists reflecting on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s six principles of nonviolence. RSVP at arshtcenter.org.

Martin Luther King Jr. Celebrations
To commemorate Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, we will be hosting an encore performance of Selma at SoundScape Park on Monday, January 18 at 8 p.m.

Selma is a chronicle of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama in 1965.

Land Use and Sustainability Meeting

Culture Crawl is Back!
To kick off 2021, we're bringing back Culture Crawl this month! We've been working alongside some of the world’s best cultural institutions to provide you with a night of free, unique, unforgettable and safe experiences.

Miami Beach will become alive with culture as various institutions and buildings open their doors to give you just a taste of what they have to offer. From backstage tours, exhibition openings, and free film screenings in the park, there will be something for everyone. All events are free unless otherwise noted. The majority of the programming is accessible by foot and by bike, but we will also offer one dedicated free trolley (the white ones) that will drop you off and pick you up at our dedicated Culture Crawl stops.
