COVID-19 Updates
North Beach Food Distribution
Commissioner David Richardson's office will host their weekly food distribution tomorrow, November 11 in North Beach.

The food distribution is on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. Please remain in your car and open the trunk when it's your turn in line.

COVID-19 Testing
Drive-thru COVID-19 testing hours for the self PCR test with nurse assistance are from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily by appointment (click here). The site allows you to view how many tests are still available per day.

The mobile walk-up COVID-19 testing unit will continue to provide the rapid and PCR tests. Walk-up COVID-19 testing hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, no appointment necessary. Pre-register online before getting to the walk-up center to make the process go quicker, click here to pre-register and here to view FAQ's on how to do so.

General City Updates
12th Annual Miami Beach Veterans Day Celebration
The City of Miami Beach is pleased to continue our 12 year tradition of honoring, recognizing and celebrating veterans. This year we will continue our proud salute and invite you to participate in the 12th Annual Miami Beach Veterans Day Celebration, and commemorate the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, the 70th anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War, and the 30th anniversary of the end of the Panama Invasion and the beginning of Desert Shield. 

For the safety of our veterans and the community, we will be gathering virtually for our public ceremony.
As we have done throughout this unprecedented year, we will take a creative approach to celebrate and commemorate our heroes.

Tune into MBTV or the City of Miami Beach’s Facebook page at 11:11 a.m. for a message from Mayor Gelber and special guests, followed by a video message from local veterans and their families and concluding with a military fly over the skies of Miami Beach. Help us thank the women and men who served our country!

Finance & Economic Resiliency Committee Meeting

Town Hall with Vice Mayor Meiner

Miami Beach Hall of Fame
To recognize remarkable individuals that have made a lasting and significant impact on Miami Beach, the city is asking the public to nominate deserving individuals for the Miami Beach Hall of Fame. Nominations are being accepted now through November 30, 2020.

Selected Miami Beach Hall of Fame recipients are celebrated in the permanent honor hall, located on the south concourse wall of the Miami Beach Convention Center. Inductees will be honored with a plaque listing their accomplishments and a special ceremony to celebrate their achievements.

Eligible individuals must have been either born in Miami Beach, made Miami Beach his/her place of residence or business and/or had a positive and lasting impact on the community. Our recreation leaders have put together free virtual classes you can take at any time from anywhere!

From tai chi to yoga and dance fusion, you can get a great workout in. Please note classes are subject to change and new classes will be added on the second and fourth week of the month.
