COVID-19 Updates
COVID-19 Vaccination Appointments
Starting April 5, 2021, the Miami Beach Fire Department will begin administering the vaccine to individuals 19 or older. Anyone 18 years of age who wishes to receive a vaccination, may visit www.miamidade.gov/vaccine for an alternate site.

Phone lines will be open tomorrow, March 26 starting at 10 a.m. To make an appointment, please call 305.604.4255.

This hotline will be available until all appointments have been filled. Please note, appointments are ONLY for the first dose of the vaccine
South Beach Food Distribution
Commissioner David Richardson's office will host a drive-thru distribution in South Beach on Saturday, March 27. Please note this Saturday’s drive-thru distribution will be the last one.

The Wednesday drive-thru food distribution in North Beach will continue for the month of April.

COVID-19 Testing
Drive-thru and walk-up COVID-19 testing continues on 17 Street and Convention Center Drive. We encourage you to preregister for the walk-up site by clicking here or make your appointment for the drive-thru site here.

Visit the City's Coronavirus website and select "Testing" from the list of menu items to view detailed testing information.

COVID-19 Vaccines
Miami-Dade County continues to work with hospitals and health care partners to vaccinate members of our community against COVID-19 as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Appointments can be made at miamidade.gov/vaccine. Spanish speakers can visit miamidade.gov/vacuna. Information is available on on federal, tsate and other vaccination sites (CVS Health, Publix, Walmart, Winn-Dixie and Fresco y Mas, etc).

Better Bus Survey
The Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) is in the process of implementing the Better Bus Network to increase frequent bus routes and create better connections across Miami-Dade County.

This has been a collaborative community-driven effort to redesign bus network since 2018.

Family Cooking Classes
The Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with Common Threads has brought back family cooking classes!

These Sunday classes focus on family participation, healthy ingredient substitutions and convenient cost-saving recipes. Their goal is to teach families how to cook together and incorporate healthy habits at home, while maintaining their existing traditions.

Sessions are on going on select Sundays now through May with two time slots, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Scott Rakow Youth Center.
