Today, the City Manager has extended the city’s State of Emergency Declaration and Emergency Measures through June 19, 2020 . These measures allow for coolers on the beach and reopens 35 Street/Pancoast Park. Maurice Gibb Park Pier will also reopen on Monday, June 15, 2020.

Available Now! Application Form for City of Miami Beach Small Business Grant
Applications for the city's grant aimed to help Miami Beach small businesses affected by the pandemic is now available. The program aims to avoid job losses and assist those small businesses affected by emergency orders and business closures by providing working capital to help retain jobs held by low-income residents.

Award recipients will receive grants up to $10,000 for use on any business expense, such as payroll, utilities, rents, and COVID-related expenditures. To apply for the Miami Beach Small Business Grant,  click here Applications will be accepted beginning Monday, June 15 at 9 a.m. and close on Friday, June 26 at 5 p.m.

Drive-Thru Food Distribution
Feeding South Florida and Commissioner David Richardson will host a drive-thru food distribution tomorrow, June 13.

Saturday, June 13

The food distribution is on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. Please remain in your car and open the trunk when it's your turn in line.

A new date for those who previously purchased our drive-in movie event has been selected for this Sunday, June 14. All tickets for the movie showing have been previously purchased.

Miami Beach All Stars is accepting applicants for its FREE summer program beginning Monday, June 15 .

COVID-19 & Antibody Tests Available
Both active virus COVID-19 and antibody tests are available at the Miami Beach Convention Center testing facility located on 17 Street and Convention Center Drive.

The drive-through antibody testing is being conducted daily from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. with  a capacity of 80 antibody tests per day . Results are typically provided within one hour.

The active virus COVID-19 test is available as both drive-through or walk up daily from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. with a capacity of 750 of these tests.

Testing is FREE  and being offered to anyone 18 years or older, regardless of COVID-19 symptoms. A patient that has been tested is welcome to be retested at any time.

Testing for Homebound Residents
The City offers in-home COVID-19 testing for  ALL homebound Miami Beach residents  regardless of age. Testing is by appointment only and residents who meet the aforementioned criteria should call the city’s customer service center at 305.604.CITY (2489) to request an appointment.

The customer service center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Since there are a limited number of tests, the city asks that only residents that meet the criteria schedule an appointment. In-home testing for homebound residents is provided by MedRite with the assistance of the Miami Beach Fire Department.
