Today, Miami-Dade County Mayor Gimenez announced that he will be rolling back business openings by signing an emergency order that will close restaurants (except for takeout and delivery services), along with ballrooms, banquet facilities, party venues, gyms and fitness centers, and short-term rentals.  These closings would be effective Wednesday, July 8, 2020 . Read his full statement  here .

Beaches will open tomorrow, July 7, 2020, however the Miami-Dade County Mayor advises that increased crowding and people not following the public health rules, could force the closure of the beaches again.

The 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. countywide curfew remains in effect with exceptions for essential workers and for people who have a religious obligation.

OneBlood Donation
OneBlood is working with the public and physicians to coordinate the delivery of potential lifesaving COVID-19 convalescent plasma to those in need. People who have recovered from coronavirus infection have developed antibodies to the virus that remain in the plasma portion of their blood.

Transfusing the plasma that contains the antibodies into a person still fighting the virus can provide a boost to the patient’s immune system and potentially help them recover. Click  here  to learn more and how you can donate today.
