Fire managers continue to keep a close eye on the northeast portion of the fire, where the uncontained fire edge has grown little in the past several days. More details...
Monterey Sports Center Offers New Live and Virtual Classes

Resurfacing of Casa Verde and Connecting Streets as Part of an NCIP Project to Update Intersections
Construction alert: Paving improvements to the intersection of Casa Verde, Helvic, McNear and Portola will take place 3 - 4 days between Sep 29-Oct 7. The intersection will occasionally close to traffic with parking restrictions during working hours. A detour will be in place to reroute traffic around the intersection. This is another NCIP Project.
