Cannery Row Days: A Novel Celebration, celebrates the 75th anniversary of the publication of Steinbeck’s masterpiece, Cannery Row (1945). This little novel, written immediately after Steinbeck returned from a journalistic assignment overseas during World War II, captures life in 1930s Monterey as well as the ecological vision of Steinbeck and his friend Edward F. Ricketts. Cannery Row celebrates community; Steinbeck’s model was the intertidal. Data USA continues to expand it's COVID-19 coverage, which is updated daily with State-level metrics including daily new cases, deaths, and hospitalizations. The latest update shows economic impacts, state risks and readiness, and current hospitalizations, including ICU and ventilator usage (when made available by individual states). Also, don't forget we have a several important standard links at the bottom of each of these emails with important pandemic information.
