New Emergency Order Clarifies Status of City Parks and Playgrounds - 4 Neighborhood Playgrounds Scheduled to Open December 4
As the Director of Emergency Services, City Manager Hans Uslar signed a new emergency order last week that clarifies the status of city parks, playgrounds, and ball fields. While open space parks remain open during the pandemic where social distancing can be maintained, playgrounds, ball fields and courts were closed per County and State health guidelines. As we have progressed through the COVID-19 shelter in place, some of these restrictions have changed. Beginning December 4, the following playgrounds will reopen with some restrictions: Casanova Oak Knoll Park, Hilltop Park, Montecito Park, and Via Paraiso Park. Dennis the Menace Playground will remain closed.
Blood Drives at El Estero Park Center
Two open appointments remain for the American Red Cross blood drive on Tuesday, November 17. The next two blood drives are scheduled on December 15, 2020, and January 28, 2021.
