FROM THE CITY OF MONTEREY
COVID-19 and More...Local Update
November 30, 2020
Welcome to a Beautiful Monterey Monday!
We've had very beautiful and crisp weather conditions the past few days. Today, the National Weather Service issued a beach hazards statement so if you go to the beach please be on the lookout for sneaker waves and strong rip currents forecast through Tuesday morning.
On this Cyber Monday, here's a good reminder why it's important to buy local. Every holiday shopping season, and especially this year with the pandemic, our local businesses need your support. Major online retailers are getting plenty of business - keep your $ local. Support jobs, the environment, community improvements and city services. Many local shops and business district websites allow online purchases and curbside pickup. Learn more about the reasons to buy local at monterey.org/buylocal
