How the New Stay At Home Order Affects Current City Services
The Monterey County and State public health guidelines and orders continue to change as we move through this pandemic. With the new stay at home order (that lasts until January 11) announced yesterday, we will have to close the campground at Veteran's Park. The last overnight in the campground is this Saturday, December 12.
Veteran’s Park remains open, but the playground, and all City playgrounds remain closed. Outdoor Group Exercise at the Monterey Sports Center remains open. There are no changes to current Library services - we are still open for sidewalk service hold pick-up. READ THE ORDER
Help Us Grow Our Subscribers So We Can Encourage Community Engagement - Together We Are Building Community
We are excited to share our City of Monterey Holiday Video Greeting this year, and want to encourage more residents to sign up for the City Focus newsletter so we can include sending them the greeting. Together we build a stronger community and expand connections. Participating in the city government process is interesting and fun. Please tell a friend or neighbor who you think may enjoy receiving City of Monterey news - they can text CITYFOCUS to 22828 to subscribe and get involved!
