Covid-19 Numbers for 93940 -VACCINE INFO AVAILABLE SOON
In the next weeks, we will continue to add more information about the vaccine rollout as we know more. A good resource that will continue to get updated is the CHOMP website at chomp.org/vaccine, and we will post schedules and more at monterey.org/coronavirus. Here are today's numbers for 93940. City of Monterey issues over $626,000 in Emergency Rental Assistance Grants to Date
Another featured project on the new site, haveyoursaymonterey.org is the City's Covid-19 response. The City of Monterey has issued $626,637 in emergency rental assistance funds to date. This week was our largest check run to date, issuing 67 checks totaling $134,526.98

CERT Training For Monterey Residents
Monterey CERT, Community Emergency Response Team, is offering a new class to start in late February or early March. Covid-safe protocols will be in place. See details at monterey.org/Portals/0/News/CERT/2021/CERT-Online-Training-2021.pdf
Registration Open for Preschool Program at Hilltop Park Center starting January 19
Did you know Monterey Recreation has been offering a fun, safe and small class size Preschool Program since October? Monterey Recreation is excited to announce that we are in the process of opening a second, in-person Preschool Program at Hilltop Park Center. This preschool class will begin January 19 and space will be limited to 10 students due to COVID-19.

Location: Hilltop Park Center
Days/Times: Tues. - Fri., 9:30am - 12:30pm (All children will be signed up for 4 days.) Check in will begin at 9:15 am daily.
Fees: $384 Program Fee/$296 Monterey Resident Fee (4-week sessions, fees will be pro-rated for shorter sessions.)
Ages: 3-5 years old and must be potty trained.

We follow strict COVID-19 protocols for every one's health and safety including the following; Masks will be required for students and teachers at all times. Health screenings and temperature checks will be administered daily. Daily cleaning and disinfection of all Preschool spaces.

To reserve your child's space and make a registration appointment, please call Monterey Recreation at 831.646.3866 and leave a message or email montereyrecreation@monterey.org. We are also starting a list of interested parents for an additional Preschool site starting in February.
