Monterey Police Department's January Report
The Monterey Police Department's (MPD) Monthly Report for January 2021 has just been published. This Report includes information on MPD priorities for the year, staffing protests/rallies, Covid-19 education and enforcement, and much more. Vaccination 4-1-1
Everyone in California will have an opportunity to get vaccinated against COVID-19 at no cost. But our vaccination supply is limited right now. So we’re starting with the groups who are at highest risk, like people with a high chance of exposure and people 65 and older. The Monterey County Community Action Partnership (MCCAP) has asked our Housing Programs Office for help in distributing the 2022 - 2023 Community Needs Assessment Survey. The MCCAP mission is to assess the needs of low-income residents of Monterey County and develop, maintain, and evaluate community services that empower low-income individuals and families to improve their quality of life. The survey helps them prioritize services and allocate funding based on community needs. This year of course, all outreach will be done remotely. Monterey Residents 2-Hour FREE Parking Program Permit
The Parking Division is encouraging residents who would benefit from the parking program to buy an annual permit for $20 that offers 2 free hours of parking in the downtown garages, Cannery Row garage, and Waterfront lot. The link to the form is at, or residents can call 646-3935.
