Round 5 of the California Relief Grant is Open!
Applications for the California Relief Grant are open to all eligible small businesses and nonprofits operating in California. Wait-listed applicants are automatically rolled over and DO NOT need to apply again.  Learn More at http://CAReliefGrant.com
Upcoming temporary closure of Franklin Street
As part of the Franklin Street Storm Drain Extension Project, we are preparing a full lane closure of Franklin Street, from Washington to Figueroa, from Monday, April 5 through Friday, April 9. The closure will remain in place around the clock for those five days. We will be closing the travel way and securing the site with temporary fence panels. Please access the Monterey Sports Center via Washington Street. See map for more information, and thank you for your understanding while we continue to make infrastructure improvements that improve our city and the environment. 3CE Electric Vehicle Incentive Program 2021
Central Coast Community Energy (3CE) is providing incentives for qualified clean vehicles purchased or leased between February 1, 2021 and June 30, 2021. Participants must be current 3CE customers.

Income-qualified customers are eligible for increased incentives. 3CE believes energy programs like Electrify Your Ride are an opportunity to make clean vehicles more affordable and accessible to our income-qualified community. See if you qualify
Expanded Free Testing Sites! Free Testing, no appointments necessary, walk ins welcome!
Free testing location sites:
  • Monterey Regional Airport, 200 Fred Kane Drive: 9a.m. – 6 p.m., seven days a week
  • Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, 353 Camino El Estero: 10a.m. – 6p.m., Monday – Friday

Why get tested?
  • Testing helps to save lives and livelihoods: reduces transmission; breaks the chain of infection; improved targeting and monitoring of Covid-19 strategy, surveillance.
  • Testing and vaccinations are complimentary strategies (not an either-or scenario)
  • Testing is still needed to protect against new variants, reinfection, and as a tool to help manage reopening.
