Monday Motivation at the Monterey Sports Center
There's nothing like seeing other people exercising to give a person the Monday Motivation needed to get moving! Monterey Sports Center has reopened and group exercise classes returned today! We have 30+ classes each week including Zumba, cycling, yoga, interval training, kettlebell, Pilates and much more. Classes are included with membership or drop-in fee. For a limited time, we have Welcome Back Specials - discounted individual and family passes, or purchase a year membership and get a month FREE. Find the group exercise schedule and other information about the Sports Center at montereysportscenter.org. It's great to see previous and new customers back!
Monterey Police Department's February Monthly Report
The Monterey Police Department's February 2021 Monthly Report - a 9-page comprehensive status report from the past month - is now published. Find it along with past reports under Get Informed/Monthly Reports at montereypolice.org. **Please note Monthly Reports are released approximately 30 days after the month's end once statistical data is verified.**
A reminder from the California Department of Public Health
We know it’s been difficult this past year, but we’re close to ending the pandemic. Do your best to keep gatherings small and outside to reduce risk. Please remember to wear a mask, wash your hands, get tested, and when it’s your turn - get vaccinated.
Monterey Recreation Spring Softball League is open! (photos taken 2019)
We are happy to announce that registration for the 2021 Monterey Recreation Spring Softball League is open! The 6-week season is set to begin on April 10 and will run until playoffs on May 22 and 23. If you have a team planning on playing this spring, please don't wait to sign up as the deadline to register is right around the corner.

Co-ed Socko Softball Leagues: Games will be played Sunday afternoons and evenings.
Men's Slow Pitch Leagues: Games will be played Saturday evenings.
Registration Deadline: Monday, April 5 at 4:00pm
Team Fee: $415
Monterey Team Fee: $320
*Non-resident Fees will be assessed if not accompanied by a team roster consisting of 10 active City of Monterey residents. Fees have been prorated to reflect the shortened Spring season.

To a register a team, please fill out the team roster/registration form and email it to almario@monterey.org. A completed team roster is required at the time of registration. Strict COVID-19 precautions will be followed. Visit the Adult Field Sports webpage and click on the Spring Softball Leagues tab. WANT TO PLAY BUT DON'T HAVE A TEAM?
