Time for a stroll along the Recreation Trail
The cherry blossoms are blooming along the Recreation Trail near Foam and Cannery Row next to the basketball court. Planted in March in tribute to the one year mark of the pandemic in Monterey, and later to be dedicated as a memorial once we get past the pandemic, the trees provide a comfort and place to remember those lives lost to Covid-19, and thank all those who helped us through this difficult time.

  •  Testing and vaccinations are complimentary strategies (not an either-or scenario)
  • Testing is still needed to protect against new variants, reinfection, and as a tool to help manage reopening.
