Vaccination clinic tomorrow at the Monterey Conference Center
Monterey Fire Department is hosting a vaccine clinic, tomorrow, May 6 from from 1:00 -7:00 p.m. at the Monterey Conference Center. This clinic is offering the Moderna or Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine which is approved for use on those 18 years old or older. The registrant chooses which they prefer when they sign up. If you choose Moderna the second shot will be scheduled for June 3. Full registration details

It's been a busy few weeks on the bay with many squid boats out during the day and night. One of the best views to spot them is at sunrise. Such a pretty time of day in Monterey.

Monterey Fire Dept hosting a walk-in clinic at Monterey Wharf, May 8
On Saturday, May 8 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., the Monterey Fire Department will be hosting a pop-up Covid-19 vaccination clinic at the head of Old Fisherman's Wharf. If you still need to get vaccinated, get a shot and then head to the Wharf for some chowder or fresh calamari! This is a walk-in, no pre-registration clinic for the one-dose Jannsen (Johnson and Johnson) vaccine.
