The County of Santa Clara
Has Moved to the Orange Tier
Good evening Morgan Hill Community,

As you may have already heard, today, October 13, 2020, the State of California moved the County of Santa Clara to the Orange Tier (Tier 3). Changes are effective tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14, 2020.

Remember, the County Health Officer urges residents to continue taking precautions, including:
  • staying home when possible,
  • minimizing interaction with people outside one’s household.
  • maintaining social distance,
  • wearing face coverings,
  • and moving as many activities outdoors as possible. 

Individuals over age 50 and those with serious underlying medical conditions are at greater risk for serious illness from COVID-19. Indoor dining and indoor gatherings are particularly high- risk activities.
Morgan Hill residents with non-emergency questions or concerns are directed to call or text 408.767.6404. This number is monitored regularly, Monday - Friday, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Messages will be responded to within 24 hours, during weekdays.
