Your June 2, 2019 Morgan Hill Weekly 411
Happy beautiful Sunday Morgan Hill!

The week ahead marks the end of another school year for many of our Morgan Hill students and graduation for many of our High School Seniors. This is a time of celebrations, which include many celebratory parties. We encourage parents to talk to their children about celebrating responsibly. The week ahead should be a time of happiness and fun, not one of sorrow and tragedy!

We are looking forward to scheduling our first Engage Morgan Hill Community Advisory Group meeting very soon, but there is still time to join. Please email us today if you are interested in participating.

Thank you to Morgan Hill Community Christian Church, Morgan Hill Downtown Association and the Rotary Club of Morgan Hill for partnering together to refresh the Pop Up Park in Downtown. Your efforts are sincerely appreciated and will be enjoyed by the community and visitors alike.

Have a wonderful week ahead. We look forward to your continuing engagement in all aspects of community life and government in Morgan Hill.

Community Organizations Partner to Refresh Pop-Up Park
Community Christian Church, the Morgan Hill Downtown Association, and the Rotary Club of Morgan Hill partnered to provide updates to the park, located at the corner of Second Street and Monterey Road in Downtown Morgan Hill
Community members from the three organizations came together to volunteer their time and provided supplies to pull weeds, sand the wall and fence, add a fresh coat of paint, and put together some new chairs for visitors to the park to enjoy
The Pop-Up Park was originally located in a temporary space at the corner of Monterey Road and Third Street. On June 10, 2016, there was an official grand re-opening of the park in the current location at the corner of Second Street and Monterey Road. The location of the Pop-Up Park has been provided by Ladera Grill

Current Watering Schedule
Water is always a precious resource in Morgan Hill and with this in mind, our permanent watering restrictions have been designed to best manage the City's potable water supply. These restrictions will help us avoid or minimize the effects of drought, climate change and the unreliability of the imported water infrastructure that serves the City of Morgan Hill.

Complete rules and restrictions can be found in  Water Waste Ordinance No. 2236 .

Customers can report water waste  online  or by calling the Water Waste Hotline at 408-310-4195.
