Your Morgan Hill Weekly 411
News for the Week of February 1, 2021
Hello Morgan Hill!

We had over 4 inches of rain this past week, so if it seemed like a lot of rain...it was! The City, overall, fared well through the storms with localized flooding primarily along the West Little Llagas Creek, a known problem area. The good news is that eventually flooding in that area will be remedied with the completion of the Upper Llagas Creek Flood Protection Project.

Groundhog Day is this Tuesday Feb 2, 2021, which may seem just a bit ironic, being as many of us feel like we've been living Groundhog Day for the past almost 11 months. So, what are you hoping for? That the groundhog will see his shadow, predicting 6 more weeks of winter or, are you hoping for an early spring? I guess we will find out on Tuesday.

We hope that you have a good week ahead. Stay safe and be well!
