Your Morgan Hill Weekly 411
News for the Week of February 15, 2021
Happy Weekend Morgan Hill!
Yesterday was the Lunar New Year! After all the challenges that have been thrust upon us this past year, we hope that this year will bring you many new blessings. As we transition from winter to spring, let us welcome new beginnings and opportunities. Stay safe and stay strong!
The celebrating continues throughout the weekend with Valentine's Day on Sunday (Don't forget your sweetheart!) and President's Day on Monday, providing a three day weekend for many. Enjoy!

Just a reminder that the City of Morgan Hill will be observing the President's Day Holiday on Monday, February 15, 2021. All public safety services will continue as usual but calls to City Hall and the virtual call center will not be answered. All messages will be returned on Tuesday, February 16th.
February is Black History Month and this year's theme is The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity.

The first official observance of Black History Month came in February 1976, from President Gerald Ford. He proclaimed: “In the Bicentennial year of our Independence, we can review with admiration the impressive contributions of black Americans to our national life...".

We invite you to learn more about Black History Month this February on the Association for the Study of African American Life and History website.
