Hello Morgan Hill!

Also right around the corner is the March 3, 2020, Presidential Primary Election. Voters who prefer to vote in person can still do so at any of the 110 Vote Centers that will be open throughout Santa Clara County. Check your voter ballot for times and locations near you.

April 1 is Census Day
When do most people get counted? Complete the Census by April 30.
The sooner you complete it, the better! As early as March 12 visit the
Census Bureau website
and fill out the survey online, in one of the 59 languages available. The Census Bureau has also created a
how-to video
that gives step-by-step instructions on how to complete the 2020 Census questionnaire online. First two languages listed are English and Spanish, followed by 60 other languages.
You can also respond by phone, by mail, or in person when a Census Bureau worker will visit your neighborhood door-to-door starting in mid-May.
Earlier this year the City earned a grant from the Silicon Valley Community Foundation for $34,000, which allows us to also focus efforts on reaching traditional hard to count segments of the Morgan Hill population. Good work Housing Team! Look for updated information on volunteer requests and census-related events very soon. Successfully obtaining grants is one of the ways the City is able to do more for the community without needing resources from the General Fund.
