State Legislators Fund Poulsbo Fire CARES Program. The 2022 State Supplemental operating budget includes $200,000 for the 2023 Poulsbo Fire CARES Program. The City of Poulsbo and Poulsbo Fire thank Representative Tara Simmons for advocating for our program, and increasing our ability to respond to behavioral health needs in the North Kitsap area. We'd like to see a "senior corps" established, in the next few months, to help our 65+ neighbors with companionship, transportation, and errands.
