The premier annual 3-on-3-basketball event of Kitsap County! There are divisions for females and males, from 3rd-8th grade. Champion t-shirts awarded to division winners, medals to 2nd place division winners; trophies to pre-tournament contest winners. Good sportsmanship required. Volunteers needed. the Outlet Shoppes in Burlington are just off I-5 and offer a variety of shopping options. Whether you're looking for apparel, house wares, health & beauty, specialty items or footwear, they have it all. After we're done there, we'll head to Anacortes to see this quaint seaside downtown. You'll have time to wander and have lunch before heading home. Fee includes transportation and ferry; lunch and shopping on your own.

 Dads and daughters (ages 5 and older), join us for the 23rd annual Daddy-Daughter Dance! Bring your special girl for a night filled with music, dancing and fun. We have a DJ lined up with great music, and a corsage and small gift for your daughter. Pictures ($15) are available at the dance through T&C Photo. Pre-registration is required, and the dance always fills up, so don't wait to register. $13.04 per person.

The 2015 year for the Poulsbo Building Department was a busy year, experiencing a 37% increase in permit activity from 2014, while posting revenue increases of 45%. The City issued 9 new Commercial Permits and 128 new Single Family building permits in 2015.
The first half of the year the Building Department processed mostly restaurant related improvements, noticing a late-in-the-year boost for medical facilities. A dermatologist business valued their improvement work at over $475,000 alone.
With tenant improvements come increased handicap accessibility features, resulting in numerous meetings on-site to determine the upgrades necessary to provide easier site access so that wheelchair bound patients and patrons can come into these new establishments.
Vinland Pointe, a residential home subdivision finished building-out their 93 lots, shifting crews to a new 145-lot housing development near the high school. Mountain Aire representatives tell City staff that their basic home cost start is in the mid $350,000 range with options coming in around $400,000 per home.
During a year full of transitions and heavy activity, Cherlyn Haley has proven to be a stabilizing force for the Building Department, celebrating 25 years with the City of Poulsbo in 2014. Additionally, twenty five-year industry veteran, Sheila Miller joined the team in February 2014, with a Building and Fire code background. Replacing a retiring Building Inspector, newcomer Allan Chappell left the Navy and joined us in July, passing his first (of many) exams, two months later.
