California's Regional Stay Home Order Remains in Effect

Don't let the Covid-19 Stay Home Order keep you from enjoying life. We have suggestions for fun, family-friendly things you can do to keep your boredom at bay and get out of the house.
With our picture perfect weather, now is a good time to get reacquainted with your neighborhood. Take a walk, go for a bike ride or a hike on one of our beautiful trails, and don’t forget your four-legged family members need some exercise too!
Why not pick up curbside meals/have food delivered from one of our local restaurants and take it to a park for a picnic. Rancho Mirage has five (5) parks to choose from.
What does a complete "Stay Home evening" looks like? Perhaps start with a family barbeque, roast marshmallows by a firepit, and finish it up by watching movies, playing board games or video chatting with family and friends. No matter what creative Stay Home activities you come up with, remember to enjoy the time with your family while keeping them safe and sound.

Contactless COVID-19 Testing Through Curative
Riverside County Public Health's Dr. Cameron Kaiser Clears Up Questions About Curative's "False Negative" Result
Positive Covid-19 test results from Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests, including Curative’s self-administered test, are almost always correct. Self-administered tests, regardless of the vendor, have more potential to create false negative results compared to tests administered by a health professional. This is because sometimes people don’t follow the instructions precisely, even though they intend to do so. If there isn’t enough viral material in the sample for any reason, it won’t be positive.
Tests are contactless and self-administered through Curative, which has completed more than six million such tests in 15 states across the U.S.
Testing takes place 5 days a week, Tuesday – Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Rancho Mirage Library & Observatory (west parking lot) located at 71-100 Highway 111, Rancho Mirage.
Appointment Information
-
Scheduling an appointment @ Curative.com is strongly encouraged.

-
