TO OUR HEROES....WE SALUTE YOU!
Veterans Day 2020
This Wednesday, November 11th, is Veteran's Day. The Rancho Mirage City Council and staff pay tribute to all veteran's for their service and sacrifice to our country.
To those who courageously gave their lives and
those who bravely fight today, we thank you!
We may not be able to celebrate this national holiday as we have in the past, but that does not lessen the meaning of this special day, a day to reflect and be grateful for the freedoms that we have enjoyed as Americans because of the selfless and courageous protections that our Veterans and U.S. Armed Forces have provided us.
As some of you may remember, on Veteran's Day 2017, our City Council unveiled the Veteran Recognition Wall and Memorial Flame monument at Rancho Mirage Community Park to honor those who served our country. (pictured below)
Take some time on Wednesday to pay your respects to our Veterans by visiting Rancho Mirage Community Park's Veterans Memorial located near the park's east parking lot at 71-560 San Jacinto Drive, Rancho Mirage.

FIRST & ONLY IN THE COACHELLA VALLEY:
FRONT ROW CENTER!
We are thrilled about FRONT ROW CENTER, the Coachella Valley's first, and only locally-produced entertainment series. FRONT ROW CENTER is a weekly, half-hour televised variety series airing on KESQ (ABC-News Channel 3) on Sunday nights at 6:30 p.m. through December 20, 2020.
FRONT ROW CENTER is produced in partnership with The Palm Springs Unified School District (PSUSD), Gulf Broadcasting (KESQ- News Channel 3) and David Green's Musical Theatre University (MTU) and is the anchor to The Foundation for PSUSD’s “Protect The Arts” Fundraising Campaign.
David Green's MTU, located at the Helene Galen Performing Arts Center at Rancho Mirage High School, offers pre-professional training in the performing and creative arts for talented young people with aspirations for careers in theatre, grades 8 -13, selected by audition from throughout the Coachella Valley and neighboring counties and communities. The Coachella Valley campus is sponsored and presented by PSUSD.
The FRONT ROW CENTER series stars talented young performers from MTU and PSUSD. Ten talented performers representing PSUSD’s four high schools, and high schools throughout the region, will serve as the FRONT ROW CENTER cast of “series regulars”. Each week they will perform a myriad of staged and costumed, themed musical numbers from Broadway and beyond.
