Cannabis Equity Assessment Update
The City's First Cannabis Equity Assessment is scheduled to be heard by the City Council on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022, starting at 2 p.m. A link will be posted on the Cannabis Information page as soon as the City Council Docket is available. Cannabis Regulatory Code Amendments
The Cannabis regulatory code amendments will be considered by the City Council the week of Oct. 17. Once the date is confirmed, the Cannabis Information page will be updated. Learn more about the two code amendments related to redistricting and conditional use permit extensions.
Nov. 9 Cannabis Operator Stakeholder Meeting
California Department of Cannabis Control and City of San Diego Cannabis Business Division staff are hosting a cannabis operator stakeholder meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 9. During the meeting staff will provide an overview of improvements to the Marijuana Enforcement Tracking Reporting and Compliance (METRC) Seed-to-Sale Tracking System and hold a question and answer session. California GOBiz Grant: Cannabis Operator Input Needed
The survey is part of the City's Cannabis Equity Assessment. Survey responses will support City efforts to seek additional state funding aimed at providing financial and technical cannabis licensing assistance to those hardest hit by the War on Drugs and help ensure equitable access and ownership opportunities.
