Your Business Could Qualify for a California Grant!

Hosted by the California State Library, the California Grants Portal is the one and only destination to find all grants and loans offered by State. Search a variety of grants offered to businesses at grants.ca.gov.


Whether it is for business, individual, or even nonprofit, the California Grants Portal allows for any applicant type to search for funding in over a dozen different grant categories with many varying timeframes. The portal also allows you to sign up for notifications on any new grants that you may be interested in.

California Competes  Tax Credit Program

The California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) is an income tax credit available to businesses that want to locate in California or stay and grow in California. Businesses of any industry, size, or location compete for over $180 million available in tax credits by applying in one of the three application periods each year.


For the remainder of the 2022-2023, applications for the CCTC will be accepted during the following periods:


• July 25, 2022 – August 15, 2022

• January 3, 2023 – January 23, 2023

• March 6, 2023 – March 20, 2023

The 8th Annual Dumpling & Beer Festival will be returning to the historic Mission District on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The popular foodie event will once again feature a wide variety of delicious bites and hoppy sips from local and regional breweries and eateries, providing a local twist on Oktoberfest in San Gabriel style. Admission is FREE!

Responsible Beverage Service Training Program

New mandatory training for alcohol servers and managers

DEADLINE: August 31, 2022

NEW mandatory training requirement for alcohol servers and managers of alcohol servers using ABC licensees with on-premises alcohol sales privileges. Alcohol servers and managers who work at those locations must register with the ABC, be trained, pass an exam, and be certified by August 31, 2022, or 60 days after their first date of employment.
