The Innovation in Action Speaker Series is a collaboration between the Georgia Center of Innovation, Sandy Springs Economic Development Agency, and Sandy Springs Innovation Center to bring together industry leaders to share their stories and to bring innovation into their business. The first program for the free luncheon series will feature a panel
of innovation leaders discussing “Innovation Where We Live”. While Tech Square is a shining example of an innovation community, not every innovator can, nor should, live in midtown Atlanta – innovation should exist where we live.

Sandy Springs Restaurant & Hospitality Job Fair
Looking for a job? Attend the upcoming job fair to engage with many of the restaurants and hotels located in Sandy Springs – you can even land an on-the-spot interview! The job fair will take place Tuesday, May 21st from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at Taqueria Tsunami (5825 Roswell Road). Job fair attendees will receive a free chips & queso voucher from Taqueria Tsunami. Summer in Sandy Springs
The City Green will be alive with the sound of music this summer! City Green Live is a free concert series that will fill many summer Friday nights with a variety of music genres. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. and the music will start at 7:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket, set up a lawn chairs, or reserve a table. A limited number of reserved tables are now on sale. Bring your own picnic or purchase from one of the nearby restaurants or event food trucks. Only alcohol purchased on site is permitted. Check out
the lineup at citysprings.com and plan to meet us on the Green! City Green Live is sponsored by the Sandy Springs Arts Foundation. The first concert in the series on Friday, May 24 features Steep Canyon Rangers, a Grammy Award-winning Bluegrass band known for collaborating with actor/banjoist Steve Martin. From their humble beginnings in college bars, to an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Steep Canyon Rangers has recorded nine solo albums plus two collaborative albums with Martin.
Dodgeball League
The City's Recreation and Parks Department is introducing an adult co-ed Dodgeball League. The seven week program is scheduled to launch this August and is designed for ages 18 and up. There is a $30 free agent sign up and the team cost is $150 with a 10 player maximum per team. The Dodgeball program will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at Ison Springs Elementary School.

Conference Center at City Springs
City Springs Conference Center is located on the third floor of the City Hall building. The conference center is home to multiple meeting spaces and is adjacent to the City View Terrace. The City View Terrace is perfect for small events, receptions, and more. The water wall, comfortable eating and portable bars ensure a wonderful experience for guests. Full catering is on site. Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center - Byers Theatre
The centerpiece of the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center is the 1,070-seat Byers Theatre. The 50,000 square-foot theatre supports a wide range of programs and activities, and sections of the theatre can be darkened to create a sense of intimacy for smaller audiences. Take your VIP event to the next level – the adjacent Park View lounge will elevate the experience with view of the City Green and Byers Theatre lobby.
