Are you a real-estate broker? Increase the visibility of your commercial and industrial properties by adding them to Georgia.org, the website of the Georgia Department of Economic Development.

The additions and updates of your properties in Georgia.org/SiteSelector are automatically sent to the available properties databases that Electric Cities of Georgia, Georgia EMC and Georgia Power create and maintain. This free services provides up-to-date building information about your properties in all four databases by entering it only once!

Benefits
Prospects can review key information about your available buildings related to state and federal incentives, broadband infrastructure, nearby colleges and universities, and other community assets.
Prospects can easily click through to city, county, or regional profiles to review data on local workforce, businesses, and more.

Meet the
New Board Members
Sunny Park and Toshia Battle recently joined the Sandy Springs Development Authority and went through certification training from the Carl Vinson Institute of Government.
Sunny Park
Sunny is the CEO of General Building Maintenance, which he founded GBM in 1983, with the motto “Zero Defects is Our Goal”. GBM was awarded as one of Fastest Growing Companies in Atlanta, and recognized by numerous clients and professional organizations with awards for efforts to deliver quality services proactively since 1983.

Sunny, Atlanta Business Hall of Fame laureate, and USO Patriot Medal recipient, is a naturalized U.S. citizen. Sunny is former Vice Chairman of The Georgia Port Authority. He has been named One of the Most Influential Atlantans multiple times. Sunny is Vice Chairman of Youth Challenge Academy Foundation and an active and involved donor through The Community Foundation.
Toshia Battle
Toshia is a Program Manager with Northrop Grumman Corporation. As part of the Program Management team she oversees and manages operations to support $78m in government contracts. Toshia’s expertise is focused on implementing business initiatives across multi-functional teams and navigating rapidly changing environments with competing priorities.

She holds an Executive MBA with a focus in Leadership from University of Georgia, Terry College of Business. She also has a BBA from James Madison University. Toshia serves the Northrop Grumman Employee Resource Groups (ERG) as Vice President of the Atlanta Chapter Northrop Grumman Women’s International Network (NGWIN) and as Treasurer of the Atlanta Chapter African American Task Group (AATG). She is a graduate of the Leadership Sandy Springs Class of 2016 and currently serves on the board of the Community Assistance Center.
Development Opportunities
Available Incentive: Workforce Housing
This program allows a reduction in impact fees when a housing project proposes to create at least 150 new or replacement housing units and at least 20 percent of the units are made available to individuals or families with annual incomes of no more than 120 percent of the annual median income of all households in Sandy Springs. Exemptions are also possible for any housing project of at least 150 housing units that proposes to replace at least 150 existing rental housing units with no less than 75 percent of the units intended for home ownership. Summer in Sandy Springs
City Green Live Summer Concert Series
The City Green is alive with the sound of music this summer! City Green Live is a free concert series that will fill many summer Friday nights with a variety of music genres. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. and the music starts at 7:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket, set up a lawn chairs, or reserve a table. A limited number of reserved tables are now on sale. Bring your own picnic or purchase from one of the nearby restaurants or event food trucks. Only alcohol purchased on site is permitted. Check out the remaining lineup at citysprings.com and plan to meet us on the Green! City Green Live is sponsored by the Sandy Springs Arts Foundation.

Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center - Byers Theatre
The centerpiece of the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center is the 1,070-seat Byers Theatre. The 50,000 square-foot theatre supports a wide range of programs and activities, and sections of the theatre can be darkened to create a sense of intimacy for smaller audiences. Take your VIP event to the next level – the adjacent Park View lounge will elevate the experience with view of the City Green and Byers Theatre lobby.
Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center - Studio Theatre
The Studio Theatre is the most versatile space with the capability to accommodate intimate performances, corporate meetings, and banquet-style events. To learn more about booking a space at City Springs, visit the Book a Venue tab on their website .
