Marty Sanchez Links Celebrates 25 years with New Look, New Management

The City’s premier championship golf course, Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe, is proud to announce an exciting new management agreement with Troon, the world’s largest golf and golf-related hospitality management company. In addition, as the popular course celebrates its 25th anniversary, the City is unveiling a new logo reflecting the course’s rich history and continued commitment to excellence. Las Estrellas Submissions In

The submission period for the City’s two Las Estrellas solicitations closed on Monday, January 29, 2024. The Community Development Department is reviewing the proposals and successful respondents will be notified on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. The solicitations—a collaboration between Land Use, Affordable Housing, and Economic Development—are intended to increase local housing affordability and spur mixed-use development in support of the City’s commitment to building a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable future!

Share the Experience Passes

The Santa Fe Public Library is excited to announce that their new Share the Experience Passes (S.T.E.P.) are now available at all three branches! The passes are good for free admission for up to six people at six local museums, and can be checked out by any library card holder for up to 14 days (first come, first served).

New Poet Laureate

Please join us in welcoming Tommy Archuleta, our new Santa Fe Poet Laureate! Tommy is a poet, musician, mental health therapist, and substance abuse counselor. His debut full-length poetry collection, Susto, was published in 2023 by the University Press of Colorado to strong acclaim. His poems have also appeared in several literary journals and the high-profile Academy of American Poets Poem-a-Day program and Poetry Daily newsletter.


Born and raised in Santa Fe, Archuleta earned his bachelor’s degree from the College of Santa Fe, which he attended as a first-generation college student on a full merit scholarship. He now lives in Cochiti Pueblo with his family and is working on his second full-length collection of poetry.
