Land Development Code Update Open House

On Monday, the Planning and Land Use Department hosted an open house to launch the multi-phase project to update and rewrite the Santa Fe Land Use Development Code. Feedback Wanted On Draft Consolidated Plan

The City’s Office of Affordable Housing (OAH) invites community members to provide public comment on the 2023 draft of the City’s Consolidated Plan. The public comment period will run through Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

Planting Trees


Parks Horticulturalist Andrew Garcia and the River and Watershed team hosted a tree-planting workshop with our Parks crews to go over best practices for planting trees in Santa Fe as we head into spring. Thank you to Andrew and team for sharing your expertise!

Economic Development Advisory Committee Openings

The City is currently seeking applications for vacant positions on its Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC). As an advisory group for the City, the Committee assists with policy recommendations and evaluates specific programs related to economic development.

Get Ready for Summer Youth Recreation Programs

The Recreation Division is offering affordable Summer Recreation Programs for youth ages 6-12 and teens ages 13-17. The programs will kick off June 5 and run through July 28, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast and lunch are included with the programs and fees will be charged on a sliding scale based on income.


Registration will take place in person by appointment only on Saturday, May 6, at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center.


Appointments to register go live on Monday, April 24, at 8:00 a.m.

Ramadan Reflections at SFPL


Saturday, April 15, 4:30 to 6 p.m. | Southside Santa Fe Public Library


Community members of all ages are invited attend Ramadan Reflections, an in-person program with a panel presentation from local Muslim women about the meaning and practice of Ramadan, along with activities for attendees. Come learn more about this sacred religious tradition observed by our Muslim friends and neighbors!
