Join Our Team

We're hiring for a variety of positions across departments and skill levels – and in case you hadn't heard, we're offering a $1,000 hiring incentive for all new employees. (Some positions are also eligible for our rapid-hire event at GCCC tomorrow!)

Check out the list of open positions and apply online here.

Investments in Our Community

On Wednesday, July 27, the Governing Body approved a total of $3,871,950 for three years of funding of community services through several nonprofit agency partners. This is the largest amount the Human Services Committee has ever recommended for funding, and represents a record investment to address adult health, behavioral health, community safety, and equitable society. Read about the details here. (And, if you or someone you know wants support, CONNECT with us.)

Welcome to Our New Officers

This week, the Santa Fe Police Department onboarded experienced lateral Police Officers James McCowen, Nicholas Lefluer, Brandon Hayner and Anthony Perna. The lateral officers will complete initial training and then begin the Field Training Program. They are anticipated to complete Field Training by in late September and will be assigned to a Patrol Team after completion. Congratulations and welcome to these four new members of the SFPD team!

Get Down at the Spray Down

We had a blast and did lots of splashing with the Santa Fe Fire Department at the Spray-Down last Saturday! These summer soaks last for about 10-15 minutes at a time, and there's always lots of smiles and laughter to go around. Thanks to everyone who joined us and to the Fire Department for letting us all have some watery fun-in-the-sun. If you missed it, you can join us tomorrow at Alto Park for another one at 12:30 p.m. – it's part of the Bicentennial Pool celebrations that begin at 11 a.m.

Summer Reading Dance Parties

Get ready to move your flippers and swish your tail to celebrate the end of the Santa Fe Public Library’s "Oceans of Possibilities" Summer Reading Program! This year, over 800 Santa Fe children and teens participated – and the Library is having not one but two dance parties to celebrate. Join them at the Main Library on August 5 or the Southside Library on August 6 (4 to 6 p.m.) for music, prizes, crafts, and more.

There's a lot going on in the City Different!
