City's FY 21 Audit Released to the Public

The City of Santa Fe’s Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) Audit is now available to the public. The Independent Auditor’s report on the FY21 financial statements expressed an unmodified, or “clean” opinion, which means that the auditor concluded that the financial statements are presented fairly, in all material respects, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The report identified 22 findings.


The City is actively working with its auditors and accounting consulting team on completing the FY22 audit.

Spray Down Fun in the Sun

Our second-to-last Spray Down of the summer was this past Saturday! Thanks to everyone who joined us for this fun way to beat the heat – and be sure to mark your calendars for our final event on Saturday, Aug. 12 (11 a.m. @ Swan Park).

The August 2023 issue of Senior Scene, our monthly Senior Services newsletter, is now available! Highlights include pictures from July activities, NM State Fair field trip registration information, the August lunch menu, and a new series to help you get to know the Senior Services Division team!

Ragle Field #2 Construction

Construction has begun on baseball field #2 at Ragle Park! The Parks Division secured ARPA funding to resurface both the infield and outfield using synthetic turf. This installation will help improve playing conditions at the ball field and conserve water use.

Monday: "OED Online" Free Resource Webinar

The Office of Economic Development (OED) invites you to the next installment of "OED Online," their free resource webinar series! The initiative is designed to highlight key resources for entrepreneurial and business community from partners across the state.


This month's guest is Ryan Dodge, Program and Events Manager for Tourism Santa Fe. He'll share information about the Marketplace program they've worked on with the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce and how it helps local businesses increase their reach and their sales. Join OED on Monday, August 7, from 12 to 1 p.m. to learn more!

After School Program Registration Next Week


Registration for the City Recreation Division's After School Program begins on Monday, August 7, at 8 a.m.! Spaces are first-come, first-served, and parents/guardians must register their children in-person at GCCC. The program is open to ages 6 to 12 (proof of age required), and will have monthly sessions from August 21, 2023, through May 2024. Sessions cost $50/month.
