Highlights from the Week of August 16, 2021
There's a lot going on in the City Different!

  • Tuesday: Santa Fe Plaza (SE corner), 8-3
  • Wednesday: GCCC, 8-3
  • Thursday: GCCC, 7-2
  • Friday: Santa Fe Plaza, 8-3
  • Saturday: Southside Library, 8-3
  • Saturday: Santa Fe Plaza, 8-3

Watershed Moment
Many hands make light work! Our River and Watershed Section teamed up with volunteers from the Santa Fe Watershed Association and several other nonprofits to cleanup a stretch of the Santa Fe River earlier this week. The crew filled up a trailer (courtesy of the Parks Division) with debris in just a few hours time – a huge thanks to everyone who came out to give back!
Golf FORE Kids Tourney
The 23rd Annual FORE Kids Scholarship Golf Tournament tees off with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start on Friday, August 27, at Marty Sanchez Links. Funds raised will go to recreational activities for youth who could not otherwise afford to participate. The goal is to attract 100 golfers to play in the tournament. And, there's a driving contest too. Get a team together or enter solo and contact alobrodsky@gmail.com to register.
