Projects Selected for Art is the Solution Grant

Five projects have been selected from a robust applicant pool for the City of Santa Fe's 2024 Art is the Solution grant fund! The theme for this cycle was Structural Inequity in O'ga P'ogeh/Santa Fe, and the grants were awarded to support art projects that incorporate the issue of structural inequity and its impact on Santa Fe to enrich the experience and understanding of the city for residents and visitors.

Santa Fe River Commission Seeking New Members

The Santa Fe River Commission is seeking new members! The Commission is a group of experts that advises the City on topics related to the management of the Santa Fe River, its riparian corridor, and the Santa Fe River watershed. Don't Miss Out On Rec Discount

There's still time to take advantage of the Recreation Division's New Year's membership sale and get started on your fitness resolutions for 2024! New Downtown Parking Program

On Monday, the City launched a pilot program designed to help increase parking access for downtown employees. The one-year pilot offers businesses within the Paseo de Peralta perimeter the option to purchase up to 10 parking permits for their income-qualified employees at a cost of $25/month. To qualify, employees must earn less than $21.71/hour including tips.


Downtown employers can request passes at the City’s three downtown parking garages: Railyard, Community Convention Center, or Sandoval. A total of 150 passes are available for the pilot and are being issued on a first come, first served basis.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday Closures


All City of Santa Fe offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Click here for detailed closure info.


There will be no residential trash and recycling collection on Monday. Collection will occur one day later through the end of the week (see graphic). Place carts curbside no later than 7 a.m. for collection. 


Commercial collection will not change.
