Parks Division Debuts New Weed Control Machine

This week, the Parks and Open Space Division debuted their new FoamStream® weed machine, the latest addition to their portfolio of weed management strategies. The FoamStream® uses no herbicides and is 100% organic. It combines super-heated water and natural plant-based oils to generate foam that targets and kills weeds at a cellular level, and is safe to use around animals, pollinators, and trees.

Special Olympics Torch Run

Yesterday, Mayor Webber joined members of the Santa Fe Police Department to receive the Special Olympics' Torch from other participating law enforcement agencies. SFPD ran their leg of the race, which benefits Special Olympics New Mexico, today!

Literary Festival Kicks Off Today

The 2023 Santa Fe International Literary Festival kicks off today! The City's Tourism Department and Santa Fe Public Library have partnered with the festival organizers to help bring this exciting convening of literary enthusiasts to Santa Fe for the second year in a row, and there's a fantastic lineup of events and offerings for all ages through the weekend.


Of special note is tomorrow's Youth Writers Panel, moderated by award-winning former Poet Laureate of Santa Fe Elizabeth Jacobson. Stop by at 11:15 a.m. for a lively hour in conversation with talented young writers!

Bike Rodeo for Santa Fe Bike Month


You're invited to a Santa Fe Bike Month event featuring a Bicycle Rodeo and a nearly 1-mile protected bicycle loop set up at Genoveva Chavez Community Center (GCCC) on Saturday, May 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will also feature family-friendly activities, a community art graffiti wall, bike helmet giveaways, expert bike checks, and snacks!
