Coffee Bar Opens Inside Airport Terminal

Travelers, rejoice! The Santa Fe Airport now features a new coffee and snack bar inside the terminal for comers and goers in need of a beverage or a tasty treat to round out their journey. "Wolf & Mermaid Enchanted Cafe" will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. to accommodate both the early birds and the night owls, and everyone in between. Hip, hip, hooray!

FY2022 Audit Submitted

Late last night, the City of Santa Fe's independent public accountant (IPA) notified the City that the City's FY2022 external financial statement and compliance audit has been submitted to the New Mexico Office of the State Auditor (OSA). This is the second audit submitted by the City in just over five months. Click here to read the full announcement, or here to read an FAQ that provides more detail on the audit process.

NM United at the Teen Center

Last weekend, the Santa Fe Teen Center got a visit from some of our New Mexico United players for a fun afternoon of tree decorating and holiday festivities. The teens each took home a signed soccer ball from the players too!

Remember, Snow is Water too

Saving water is always in season, be it spring, summer, fall, or winter! Our Water Conservation Office has the following tip for making the most of the snow over the coming months: as you're clearing your driveway, sidewalk, or other impermeable surfaces, place the removed snow around nearby plants, bushes, and trees! It'll melt and seep into the ground to provide them much-needed winter moisture.

New Signal Timing Improvements

Our Public Works Traffic Operations team has implemented new signal timing on Cerrillos Road from St. Michael's Drive to the W. Frontage Road/Beckner Road intersection.

The project took about a week to complete, and the changes will help increase pedestrian safety, reduce the number of traffic stops, and improve travel time through that section of the roadway. The improvements are all part of the City's efforts to implement the Multimodal Transition Plan passed in 2022.

Please join us in saying thank you to the team for their hard work and late hours to complete this important project!
