Summer Movie-in-the-Park Series Begins

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our first movie-in-the-park event on Friday last week! We had a blast and are looking forward to seeing you all at the next events on July 7 (Monsters University (G) and Dumb and Dumber (PG-13) at Villa Linda Park) and August 4 (Vivo (PG) and Elvis (PG-13) at Swan Park). Movies start at 6PM and 8PM, respectively. Be sure to save the dates!

Santa Fe Selected for Good Jobs, Great Cities Academy

We are one of 15 cities nationwide selected for the Good Jobs, Great Cities Academy, a once-in-a-generation placement that will help our Office of Economic Development build out and support workforce initiatives in Santa Fe and create more opportunities for community members to have access to training for a skilled workforce.

Next Generation Water Summit

Registration is now open for the Next Generation Water Summit (June 15 to 17)! This annual joint City-County event brings together national and state water experts, water reuse and conservation professionals and local, state, and national water policymakers to share best practices and learn about innovative water conservation and water reuse techniques that can be used to develop reliable water supplies.

Celebrate Pride with the City of Santa Fe

The City of Santa Fe is a presenting sponsor of the Santa Fe Human Rights Alliance's Pride 2023, and we also have a number of events planned across departments in celebration of 30 years of Pride in Santa Fe.


Watch for our float in the 2023 Pride Parade on Saturday, June 24, beginning at 10:30 a.m., and be sure to save the date for our free bowling night for queer teens and families on Thursday, June 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Alley!

Looking Ahead: Juneteenth


The City will be closed on Monday, June 19, in observance of the national Juneteenth holiday. Residential trash and recycling collection will be on a holiday schedule: no pickup on Monday, June 19, and collection will shift forward one day through the end of the week.


Join us on Tuesday, June 20, at the Southside Library from 1 to 3 p.m. for a Juneteenth celebration with former Santa Fe Poet Laureate Daryl Lorenzo Wellington, including food, book giveaways and more!
