Santa Fe to Host Outdoor Economics Conference

Santa Fe has been selected to host the 6th annual statewide Outdoor Economics Conference in October 2023! The Conference, organized by Outdoor New Mexico, focuses on issues connected to the state’s growing outdoor economy. It will be held at the Santa Fe Convention Center.

Update: West Alameda Closure

The Public Works Department is nearing completion of the design phase for the repairs of the closed section of West Alameda, and from there will develop a construction schedule and timeline. An informational community meeting on the project is planned for Tuesday, May 30.

FY24 Budget Unanimously Approved

The City’s FY24 budget was unanimously approved by the Governing Body on Wednesday, May 10.

The budget focuses on sustaining innovation while emphasizing fiscal responsibility, and includes significant investments to rebuild Santa Fe’s infrastructure; better maintain and improve Santa Fe parks and open spaces; increase housing options in Santa Fe, especially affordable and workforce housing; position Santa Fe to continue leading the fight against climate change; and modernize City government and reinvest in the City's workforce.
