Exotics on Broadway is back!


Exotics on Broadway will be back Saturday, August 19th from 1-6PM. This year the event is proposed to place on Broadway Ave. between Del Monte Blvd. and Fremont Blvd and expand to Fremont Blvd. between Broadway Ave. and Amador Ave. More details will be available in the coming months.

The City of Seaside held a City Council Strategic Planning Session on November 21, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Embassy Suites Monterey Bay (1441 Canyon Del Rey Blvd., Seaside). The Strategic Planning Session provided an opportunity for the City Council and Executive Staff to review, discuss and refine the priorities, goals and objectives for the upcoming years, celebrate accomplishments, and to take a step back from the day-to-day operations and ask where is Seaside is headed?

The City of Seaside, in collaboration with Community Human Services, Seaside High School and Monterey Peninsula Unified School District, is hosting the Sixth Annual Parent University.This year’s theme is “Celebrating Our Youth and Families."


When: Saturday, March 11, 2023

Time: 12:00 – 3:00 PM

Where: Laguna Grande Park.


This is a FREE community event, which will include free food, live performances, community resources and family fun activities.

Business Resources

The Monterey County's Workforce Development Board has COVID-19 relief grants available. The grants are $2,500 and are for eligible small employers who experienced economic stress by the pandemic.


Here are the eligibility requirements:


  • Currently have 5 or less full-time equivalent employees and had 5 or less full-time equivalent employees in the 2019 and 2020 taxable years.
  • Are owned, operated, and headquartered in Monterey County .
  • Were established and in operation prior to December 31, 2019.
  • Made less than $50,000 in revenues in 2019.
  • Did not receive a grant under the California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program.
  • Are able to provide government-issued photo identification and secondary documentation such as a bank statement, tax return, or business license.
  • Are currently open or have a reopening plan.
  • Demonstrate that they have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, as evidenced by at least a 10% reduction in revenue from the 2019 and 2020 taxable years.
  • Have a sustainability plan and are able to demonstrate how the grants funds would be used to keep their business open and their workers employed.

The Arts Council for Monterey County is currently accepting applications for it's Individual Artist Grant which can provide a stipend of up to $5,000 to selected artists in emerging and established stages of their career who demonstrate that this support will make a big impact on their work and on our community.


Individual Artist Grant qualifications:

  • Be a Monterey County resident
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Able to demonstrate a sustained commitment to your work and career
  • Arts4MC staff are not eligible to receive or apply to this grant

¡Carros exoticos regresan a Broadway!

Recursos para negocios

Workforce Development Board, cual es parte del condado de Monterey, tiene un programa de subvenciones de alivio por Covid-19 para microempresas de California. La cantidad de esta subvención es de $2,500.


Estos son los requisitos:

  • No haber recibido previamente una subvención del Programa de Subvenciones de Ayuda COVID-19 para Pequeñas Empresas de California.
  • El negocio se establecio y estuvo en funcionamiento antes del 31 de diciembre de 2019.
  • Actualmente activo y en funcionamiento o tiene un plan claro para reabrir. Significativamente impactado por la pandemia de COVID-19.
  • Tuvo menos de cincuenta mil dólares ($50,000) en ingresos en el año contributivo 2019.
  • Tiene menos de cinco (5) empleados equivalentes a tiempo completo, así como en los años contributivos 2019 y 2020. como en los años contributivos 2019 y 2020.
  • Puede proporcionar una identificación con foto emitida por el gobierno (estatal, nacional o extranjero).
  • La solicitud debe ser presentada por el propietario de la microempresa, que el propietario mayoritario y administrador.

El Concilio de las Artes del Condado de Monterey está aceptando solicitudes para su Subvención de artista individual.Esta beca puede proporcionar hasta $5,000 a artistas seleccionados en etapas emergentes y establecidas en su carrera. Tienen que demostrar que este apoyo tendrá un gran impacto en su trabajo y en nuestra comunidad.


Estos son los requisitos:

  • Ser residente del condado de Monterey
  • Tener 18 años o más
  • Capaz de demostar un compromiso sostenido con su trabajo y carrera
  • Empleados de Arts4MC no son elegibles para recibir o aplicar para esta beca
