Boil Water Advisory Still In Effect for
South Fulton County Residents and Businesses
The Department of Watershed Management has issued a boil water advisory out of an abundance of caution for residents and property owners in the City of South Fulton, Union City, and the City of Fairburn; as well as a portion of southwest Atlanta along Cascade Road SW and Benjamin E. Mays Drive between Avon Avenue SW and Fairburn Road SW.
The advisory was issued following a temporary loss of press Monday evening.

Although the system has returned to normal operations,The Department of Watershed Management advises residents and business owners in the impacted area to boil their water or use bottled water until the boil water advisory is lifted.
The Georgia Environmental Protection Division will advise the Department of
Watershed Management when the advisory can be lifted.
If you experienced a loss of water at your address but your address is not within the area described, the City recommends you follow these precautions.
