Each day, information evolves about Coronavirus Disease 19 (COVID-19). At the City, we want our citizens and visitors to know that we are working to reduce the spread of this disease in our community, continue to provide critical City services, and address impacts of closures of schools, business and events. Vice Admiral Bono Visiting Spokane Friday
The Washington state director for COVID-19 Health System Response Management, retired Navy Vice Admiral Raquel Bono, is visiting Spokane on Friday for a visit at the Inland COVID-19 Response Command Center, to tour Spokane hospitals, and meet with area health officials. 
 
Bono, who was recently appointed by Governor Jay Inslee, will advise his staff and state agencies on actions needed to address the capacity and strain across the health care system in Washington state.
