Water Wise Tip
Rain events and fertilizer can be a bad combination. Pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers can impact our fish and drinking water. Rainstorms often wash these chemicals into our drinking water and storm drains. Use lawn and landscape chemicals sparingly. Learn more at SpokaneStormwater.org.

On the Bright Side
We are thrilled to open the newly renovated Whitewater Disc Golf Course, previously known as Downriver Disc Golf Course! The underground work necessary for the Cochran Basin stormwater project, which treats up to 11 million gallons of stormwater each day, meant an opportunity to improve the disc golf course on top. Thank you, Public Works for being great partners and making infrastructure fun for the community!
