Mayor and Council President Propose Using Opioid Funds for Treatment

New North Bank Parking Kiosks Give Customers More Payment Options
The City of Spokane is replacing old meters at individual on-street parking spaces with kiosks. The kiosks are strategically located in the North Bank on all blocks that require payment. These new kiosks are solar powered, take up less space, and have more payment options for customers. The City’s goal in moving to the new kiosks is to make parking easy, accessible, and convenient! Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge Seeking Volunteers
In April, Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge staff will be hosting single-day tree potting sessions. Volunteers will spend a half or full day assisting staff in potting native trees such as aspen, hawthorn, and cottonwood. These potting sessions are family-friendly and open to all ages.
