Construction Update 6/17/23

The Maple Street Bridge Joint Repair and Resurfacing project is estimated to begin late Aug. or early Sept. and is expected to last 8-10 weeks, until late Oct. or early Nov. The bridge will remain open most of the time with lane reductions and periodic closures. More details to come!

As part of a follow-up to the most recent neighborhood traffic calming workshops, Spokane City Council and the Office of Neighborhood Services is inviting community members to participate in a ThoughtExchange survey to select traffic calming projects that will help shape the future of neighborhood traffic safety. Each district will participate in a survey with questions about projects in their respective neighborhoods. Click here for more information.

Visit a recycling truck, a water truck, and more in the Indian Trail Library parking lot on Tuesday, June 27, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. You will get to sit in the recycling truck, talk to drivers, and learn how these vehicles do their jobs in our community. On the Bright Side

Spokane Fire Chief Brian Schaeffer was passing through Missoula, MT when he noticed a fire in progress. Chief Schaeffer was first on scene and provided his assistance before the fire was quickly contained by the Missoula Fire Department.
