SEPTEMBER 2021
Monthly Memo from the City Manager
We hope these monthly emails from the City Manager's Office are helpful to keep you informed about news from Temecula City Hall. I encourage you to share this link TemeculaCA.gov/SignUp with your neighbors and friends so they can also sign up to receive updates from the City.

October will provide an even better opportunity to learn about many significant current events and projects at the annual Temecula State of the City presented by Mayor Maryann Edwards, hosted by the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, and held at Pechanga Resort Casino. This year's State of the City event will include an early morning opportunity to network with the local business community, visit booths at a nonprofit expo, and enjoy breakfast with a presentation by Mayor Maryann Edwards who will share the City’s recent accomplishments, current projects and vision for the future. This event is open to the public (advanced registration and ticket required), and will provide insight on Temecula's strong economy, public infrastructure projects, new businesses, and planned development. I hope to see you there.

Properly Retire Worn/Tattered
American Flags

The City of Temecula Fire Department has teamed up with Boy Scout Troop 148 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4089 to create American Flag Retirement Sites throughout the City.

These bins are located at all five fire stations in Temecula, and will be picked up by the VFW and Troop 148. Flag Retirement Ceremonies are conducted periodically to retire old flags properly.
Temecula is a family-friendly city
with many parks and amenities,
so we developed a map
to help our families explore all the fun!

Check out the online map of Temecula's parks and facilities. Features of the interactive map include location, a list of amenities, links to City Flickr photo albums, facility websites and rental information.
