City of Vacaville Approves Axiom Point, a New 375,000 SF Biomanufacturing Campus

VACAVILLE, Calif. On December 6, the Planning Commission unanimously approved Axiom Point, a proposed 375,000 square foot state-of-the-art biomanufacturing campus in the Vaca Valley Business Park. The Developer, Transwestern, released a press release on December 7 expressing their excitement over the project and their gratitude to the City for the excellent process and stellar performances by City staff.

This is the first biomanufacturing project that has resulted from the City’s Biotech Strategy that was approved by the Vacaville City Council in 2019. As the press release mentions, the City processed the proposed application in just 90 days as offered in the City’s Biotechnology Fast-Track Program. A remarkable accomplishment for such an important project for the community and this booming industry.

Axiom Point will be located on 22.4 acres in the Vaca Valley Business Park at the interchange of I-80 and I-505. The proposed campus will deliver in two phases, the first comprising 252,000 square feet and the second comprising 123,000 square feet. Designed for maximum flexibility, the project is ideal for occupier needs including biomanufacturing, laboratory research and development, medical device manufacturing, food science, agricultural technology and healthcare.
